A project unlike any other in the portfolio — a fully custom kitchenette designed and installed inside a remote cabin on Jingle Pot Mountain, accessible only by 4×4 truck along unpaved forest roads. The logistical challenge alone would have deterred many designers. For Adrianna, it was part of the adventure.
The design brief was demanding in its specificity: integrate an under-counter dishwasher drawer, drop-in stove top, fridge drawers, and under-counter drop-in sink — all within a compact footprint defined by a dramatically angled roofline that required the cabinet design to flex and adapt. Touch-latch upper doors gave the front face a clean, minimal look with no visible hardware interrupting the lines.
Every component had to be transported over rough terrain, every dimension had to be precise, and every trade decision had to account for the off-grid realities of the site. The finished kitchenette is a testament to what thoughtful design and careful coordination can achieve — even in the most unconventional of settings.

The scope included a kitchen window expansion, full wall removal to open the layout, new flooring, ceiling lighting, and a complete plumbing relocation.
The design brief was inspired by the natural textures of the West Coast — warm driftwood tones in the cabinetry, a pebble-like quartz countertop surface, and warm white base cabinets that balance the organic palette with lightness and calm. The result evokes standing at the ocean's edge without a single nautical cliché in sight.
A significant technical challenge was levelling a severely uneven subfloor before any finishes could be laid — exactly the kind of behind-the-scenes complexity that full project coordination by a certified interior designer handles seamlessly. Adrianna managed every trade and every decision, from demolition to the final reveal.

The layout maximises counter surface while incorporating ample cabinetry to keep the space organised and clutter-free from day one.
The clean lines and neutral finish create a foundation that works with any bathroom décor direction the family might choose over time, making this an investment that will continue to serve them well for years to come. A bold and elegant kitchen renovation for a Nanaimo homeowner who had a clear vision — crisp white upper cabinets to keep the space light and airy, paired with striking black lower cabinets to ground the design with weight and drama. The result is a kitchen that feels simultaneously timeless and thoroughly contemporary.
Adrianna extended the cabinetry fully to the ceiling, eliminating the awkward gap that ages so many kitchens and maximising every inch of storage. Under-cabinet lighting was installed to add warmth from below, softening the high-contrast palette and highlighting the work surfaces beautifully.
One of the more technically demanding elements of this project was fabricating the angled laminate countertop in a single seamless piece — a challenge that required precise coordination between the designer, cabinet installer, and countertop fabricator. The end result is a kitchen that looks effortlessly elegant and completely intentional, from floor to ceiling.

The vanity top was crafted in Corian solid surface with integrated sinks — a material chosen for its warm, seamless finish and exceptional ease of cleaning. The transition from single to double basin gave the clients dramatically more counter space and eliminated the daily bathroom bottleneck that a shared single sink creates.
Strategic lighting was installed to complement the Corian surface, bringing out its warmth and elevating the overall atmosphere from purely functional to genuinely inviting. Adrianna coordinated the full scope — material selection, cabinetry, plumbing configuration, and lighting — ensuring every element worked together as a unified, beautiful whole.
